Composer

Glenn Dixon is a composer and multi instrumentalist residing in Sydney, Australia. Most of his works incorporate a ‘Thirdstream’ element, where rock, blues, jazz or another non-classical style is blended into a contemporary classical form. His chamber piece Vitreous Shades of Rock was performed at the 2023 ISCM World New Music Day in South Africa in December. Ian Munro performed Wander Through Town at the Australasian Piano Pedagogy Conference Composer’s Competition in Melbourne in 2024.
